Bujrum is a Bosnian-language learning product in early access. This page explains the main kinds of information the service uses and why.
Information you provide
- Your email address when you create or access a Bujrum account.
- Profile details and feedback you choose to submit.
- Messages, reactions, room participation, and other content you choose to share in Bujrum Live.
Learning data
Bujrum stores learning progress such as completed lessons, XP, streaks, review state, gems, placement results, Academy lab results, learning paths, certificates, custom dictionary entries, and preferences. A Bujrum account is required to use the learning app, and progress is synchronized to that account. Some state may also be cached locally on your device for performance and offline support.
Audio and live rooms
When you choose to use speaking or Bujrum Live features, audio may be processed to provide pronunciation, text-to-speech, or real-time communication. Live-room audio is transmitted only when microphone access is enabled. Safety and moderation features may preserve limited room information or recordings when a report is made or a moderation feature is used.
Service providers
Bujrum relies on service providers for hosting, authentication, real-time communications, storage, optional speech generation, email delivery, and optional AI tutoring. These may include Hatchable, LiveKit, speech providers such as ElevenLabs when enabled, and an AI model provider when Ask Zmaj is available.
Friends, family, certificates, and reports
If you use friend or family-learning features, Bujrum stores the connection or family-group information needed to show shared progress. Public certificate verification exposes the learner name, certificate level, score, issue date, and certificate code for a certificate that has been issued. If you opt into weekly learning reports, Bujrum uses your account email to send the report until you turn it off or use the unsubscribe link.

Your choices
You can sign out at any time, avoid Live or microphone features, choose whether to connect with friends or a family group, decide whether to enable weekly learning reports, and choose whether to submit feedback. For account-data questions or deletion requests, use the in-app Send feedback option and identify the account email involved.
